Thirsty Kettle Club Additional Information

I. Club Requirements

Thirsty Kettle Club Membership & benefits start with an initial purchase of 4 bottles of wine. If the credit card charge is declined or unable to process due to out-of-date information during the automated charges prior to the Wine Club Pick-Up dates, your benefits could be suspended until the charge is made. Members must be 21 years of age or older. An adult must sign for the wines when delivered as a shipment. The wine club member(s) on file must be present in order to receive any of the Thirsty Kettle Club benefits. If that person has an active Membership with us, he/she does not qualify as a guest.

 

II. Cancellation Policy

The Thirsty Kettle Club Membership subscription is for a period no less than 12 months since the day of sign-up.  The customer may cancel the membership at any time, providing a notification in writing (E-mail is acceptable) to Hungry Hawk Vineyards & Winery at least 30 days prior to the shipment. If the customer chooses to cancel before the first 12-month period expires, Hungry Hawk Vineyards & Winery will automatically charge the credit card on file for an administrative fee of $50. If Hungry Hawk Vineyards & Winery is not notified within the 30 days period, the cancellation will be effective after the upcoming shipment.

 

III. Terms and Conditions

By subscribing to the Thirsty Kettle Club Membership, the credit card on file will be charged automatically two weeks prior to the triannual shipment dates. ALL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE SOLD IN CALIFORNIA AND TITLE PASSES TO THE BUYER. Hungry Hawk Vineyards & Winery make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import any wines into any state outside California. The buyer is solely responsible for shipment of alcoholic beverage products. By placing an order, the customer represent to us that he or she is least 21 years old, and the person to whom your wines will be delivered is at least 21 years old. When alcoholic beverages are delivered, the signature of the adult receiving the wine will be required and a bona fide identification may be requested to validate that he or she is at least 21 years old. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. Failing to pick-up your shipment after 30 days from the WINE CLUB PICK-UP DATE, the wines in the shipment order are subject to be exchanged for seasonally available bottles when picked-up or shipped; and after the 60 day period from the WINE CLUB PICK-UP DATE, Hungry Hawk Vineyards & Winery will automatically ship the wines to the address provided adding packaging and shipping costs associated with the shipment.

 

IV. Policy

BY LAW, no outside alcohol can be consumed on the premises. Hungry Hawk Vineyards & Winery is obligated BY LAW not to accept back any alcohol from a customer. ALL BOTTLE SALES ARE FINAL.

CROSS COMPLIMENTARY GLASSES are not allowed. This is defined as the act of two or more Members requesting to use the Guest Complimentary Glass/Tasting for the accompanying Member and vice versa. A Thirsty Kettle Club Member doesn’t qualify as another Member's “Guest”.

E-MAIL IS THE OFFICIAL MEANS OF COMMUNICATION used by Hungry Hawk Vineyards & Winery. It is the sole responsibility of the Member to verify and validate that the e-mail provided is accurate, up-to-date, and to notify Hungry Hawk Vineyards & Winery if the E-mails have not been delivered successfully.

SERVICE DOGS as defined by ADA regulations are allowed. Pets providing emotional support, well-being, comfort or companionship are not recognized as service dogs under ADA regulations.

BY LAW, if a person appears to be intoxicated, our staff has the obligation to refuse service. No alcohol will be poured if the staff has reason to believe that alcohol consumption has been abused.

Under the CALIFORNIA STATE LAW, no smoking is allowed.

Guests are not allowed to play music of their own while they remain on the premises.

Staff are required to ask for a valid ID as defined by ADA for age verification purposes to anyone looking 35 years old or younger. We reserve the right to refuse service.

During the summer, wine shipments may be held or delayed due to excessive temperatures that may be a detriment to the quality of the wine.
