Super Tuscan wines were a breakthrough in Italy in the 1970's when winemakers decided to go against constricting regulations and make the wines they wanted to make. They began blending traditional Italian varietals such as Sangiovese with classic French varietals and the world fell in love. This style of winemaking provides the winemaker with the freedom to create exciting blends to please every palate. Mike Embly, Hungry Hawk Vineyards Winemaker, will lead the discussion and tasting. The selection will include our 2022 Estate Reserve Super Tuscan and other varietals that Mike uses to create his Super Tuscan blends. Get access to exclusive barrel tastings!
